Mind & Manners Inc. was founded by Alexys Stephania Lopez, she is a strong willed, results oriented, driven entrepreneur. Miss Lopez strongly believes that we all deserve the opportunity and preparation to become successful in this world. Lopez holds a bachelors degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations from California State University, Bakersfield. Lopez spent a year living in Florence, Italy where she studied International Relations and Economics. When living in Florence, Miss Lopez volunteered at a local women’s shelter in Florence through Caritas Italiana where she helped local and refugee woman with their personal-image and rehabilitation process. While abroad Lopez was invited to attend various political conferences, one was being the Unity of Diversity Conference in Florence. That is where she grasped the importance of uniting world leaders in efforts to highlight relevant issues affecting the world today. She noticed that this method could also be used among upcoming local leaders.

Prior to founding Mind & Manners Inc., Alexys was the president of Stephanias Int. Modeling & Etiquette Academy, specializing in the development of talent through personal image and self-esteem development courses. Miss Lopez’s work with Stephanias Int. inspired her to develop Mind & Manner Inc. She recognized the need for strong leadership in society. Lopez recognizes that the road to great leadership and success starts with the fundamental basis of self-confidence. She acknowledges that there is more to the development of self-confidence than personal image and physical traits. As a passionate performer and entertainer, Lopez brought in her interest with the entertainment industry and helping the community by participating in numerous fashion shows to benefit South Asian Helpline, Los Angeles Children Hospital, the Cancer Society, and many other nonprofit organizations. Being exposed to working in the community developed Lopez’s passion to help others. Miss Lopez has received various awards for her efforts in the community, such as: the State of California Certificate of Recognition in 2013 from Lou Correa State Senator 34th District for her participation in cultural events, the President’s Volunteer Service Award presented by the Corporation for National and Community Service in recognition and appreciation of commitment to strengthening our nation, and many more. Miss Lopez has established Mind & Manners Inc., an organization committed to building innovative, community leaders. She trusts that as a society we need to be wholehearted and become competent in everything we do to create the ability to overcome any adversity and reach our goals. She believes that success has no limits to the open-minded, which seize opportunities when presented. Mind & Manners focuses on confidence building, relationship building, and accountability. Miss Lopez believes that good manners highly contribute to one’s success and failures in many aspects of life.  Mind & Manner’s objective is to build leaders that generate rather than extract, building future mentors for future leaders.
